Brian and JoLynn Jobe came out from Pilot Grove, MO for a little

 R and R and to explore the wonderful wineries that surround

 our area; all within a 30 minute radius from Concord Hill.

May 30th Keeping up With the Joneses

Carol and Steve have hiked, biked and traveled all over the world.
This week they are taking on the Katy Trail.  They enjoyed one of
George's best dinners, the Pork Tenderloin with grilled veggies, and
are well fueled for the rest of their trip.  Great to meet you both! 

Fresh Ground Coffee Every Day

You will be awakened to the smell of Fresh Ground Coffee

each morning, with cream from the cow and sugar from the pig.

May 28th; The Amazing Myszs

Larry and Mary Ann came all the way from Chicago

to bike the Katy Trail.  They are such a great couple

and ready for Anything!  So glad you came!

May 18th; The Corbetts Bike The Katy

The Corbett family took a little time off for an adventure

biking the Katy Trail with their 9 year old daughter who, by

 the way, is an amazing piano player.  She serenaded us with

her expert keyboard skills on the piano in the Great Room!

May 16th: Alabama Bikers

Good friends Pat and Evelyn Andrews and Malcom and 

Rena Grahm all from Alabama; treated to one of George's

famous dinners the night before they are ready to continue on

their way for their big Katy Ride...You can tell by the jackets

that it's been a little cold and rainy...Good luck with the weather!

May 5th: On the road again

Four Pals; Mike, Brian, Dan and John gathered for a bucket list ride

 on the Katy Trail.  Little did they know that they would be treated

 to an impromptu Bluegrass Jam session by George and the gang
in the Great Room!  Thanks guys!  You entertained us as well!

May 5th: Celestial Energy

Star Kenny graced us with her stellar personality

for a two night getaway.  Thanks for the Reiki

April 28th: Strong Ties

Best friends The Remmerts from Quincy, IL and Strongs from St. Louis

have been meeting up somewhere new for 20 years on 

their joint anniversaries.  Each year they alternate which couple 

plans the trip.  Thanks for choosing US!

The Annual Katy Trail Bike Ride...

This year the Bikers lucked out with mild June weather for the Annual Bike Event hosted by the Department of Natural Resources.  350 bikers sign up for the 5 day ride from Clinton to St. Charles.  Here they are at their Marthasville stopover....

This bunch came from Colorado, Ohio, Illinois and St. Louis to spend some quality time riding the Katy Trail. Although some are voting for the Beach next time!

Spring in Full Swing!

Musicians and Bluegrass fans, Justin and John, just biked to Missouri from Fayetteville, Arkansas and are now Biking the Katy Trail! Little did they know what they were getting themselves into when they booked with us at Concord Hill.
Here they are enjoying some bluegrass and a little of George's favorite beer, "Warsteiner" on tap, in the Wine Cellar. John is such a big guy he makes our huge beer mugs look Tiny!

Margaret and Dylan joined us early in the year. Dylan is re-locating to our area to start his own organic farm. He already has a number of years of experience under his belt apprenticing at other farms and is sure to be a great asset to our little slice of heaven here in Missouri. He is also an aspiring claw hammer banjo player, and a mighty good one at that. Good luck to you both!
